With the coronavirus pandemic, gyms are closed, and it’s better to stay at home. Here are some natural home exercises we can do to stay healthy and stay fit!

Bodyweight Exercise:

– Some of the most straightforward exercises to do would be using our own body and no equipment whatsoever. These exercises can help build strength and burn calories. And even better, to burn more calories and keep our heart rate up, we can do a circuit training- which is going from one exercise to the next, with little or no rest.

Here is a sample of a cardio circuit workout – with no equipment!

  • 1 min: Marching in place
  • 1 min: Jog in place
  • 1 min: High knees
  • 1 min: Slow and controlled plyo-jacks
  • 1 min: regular jumping jacks
  • 1 min: marching in place
  • 1 min: Skaters
  • 1 min: Mountain climbers
  • 1 min: High knees
  • 1 min: Marching in place

Another sample strength circuit training – also with no equipment!

  • 1 min: Marching in place
  • Squats – 20 reps
  • Reverse Lunges – 12 reps on each leg
  • Pushups – 10 reps
  • Dips – 10 reps
  • Walking lunge – 10 reps
  • Lateral leg lifts
  • Planks
  • Glute bridge
  • Back extensions

These are just sample circuits, but you are free to craft your circuit with different exercises that you like best. There are also many videos online if you need help or inspiration.
